Description:
Delivery of a portable system for measuring soil respiration for the needs of the Institute of Agrophysics B. Dobrzański Polish Academy of Sciences in Lublin

The subject of the order is the delivery of a portable system for measuring soil respiration for the needs of the Institute of Agrophysics B. Dobrzański Polish Academy of Sciences in Lublin.

A detailed description of the subject of the contract is attached as Annex 1 to this ToR.

The contract financed from funds received from the National Center for Research and Development for the implementation of the project "Water in soil - satellite monitoring in improving water retention using biochar" (Acronym: SoilAqChar), contract number: BIOSTRATEG3 / 345940/7 / NCBR / 2017).

1. The ability to perform measurements in the field and in the laboratory with automatic data recording

2. Portable field construction with a control unit not exceeding 6 kg

3. Control console equipped with graphic liquid crystal display

4. Possibility of full system control from the control console without the need for a computer

5. Data saved on publicly available memory cards (e.g. SD type)

6. Lithium-ion battery allowing the system to work for a minimum of 15 hours without having to recharge

7. CO measuring range 2 : min. 0-3000 ppm, resolution min. 1 ppm

8. Measuring range H 2 A: min. 0-75 mbar, resolution min. 0.1 mbar

9. PAR measuring sensor with a range of min. 0-3000 μmol / m 2 / s

10. Control of air flow through the measuring chamber in the range of min. 0 to 500 ml / min.

11. Transparent measuring chamber with a volume of min. 1 liter with sensor for measuring soil temperature

12. The chamber is equipped with a valve preventing the pressure inside the chamber from rising during the measurement

13. Chamber diameter up to 130 mm, max. Height 80 mm

14. Includes stainless steel flange for installation in soil

15. Transparent measuring chamber for testing whole plants

16. Measuring chamber with window not exceeding 250 mm 2 and a flexible arm that allows you to measure small leaves just off the soil surface

17. Base enabling measurements of soil respiration in the laboratory

18. Possibility of expanding the system in the future with additional chambers: for wide leaves, for narrow leaves with a width of 1 cm, for non-flat objects (e.g. coniferous branches, small fruit)

19. Can measure CO level 2 inside the measuring chamber in the range of at least 0-2000 ppm, using generally available CO gas cartridges 2 installed inside the system

20. Has humidity control inside the measuring chamber

21. Set includes CO chemicals and cartridges 2 for checking the CO level 2 and H 2 Inside the measuring chamber and for zeroing the carbon dioxide measuring system

22. Possibility of performing sequential measurements for given environmental parameters inside the measuring chamber

23. Suitcases included for safe transport of all system components
