The contract comprises consultancy, planning and engineering design services for the widening of national road 111 with a two-sided public transport lane over the E6 at Årum in Fredrikstad municipality. A new bridge shall be planned. The plan shall include good solutions for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as facilitating public transport stops. The solution shall provide sufficient capacity in junctions and on ramps so that traffic does not queue back onto the E6.

Development plans are to be prepared including a technical detail plan with the accompanying reports as specified in this tender documentation, as well as the provision of general assistance in the formal planning process. A preliminary project shall be prepared for a new bridge over the E6. The contract also includes a construction plan, i.e. preparation of the complete tender documentation chapters A-E including drawings for contract(s). Follow-up in the construction period and completed road drawings are included in the contract.
