This procurement is for a multi supplier Framework Agreement for the Trust"s bed and mattress requirements.

The framework will feature a number of Lots to include standard beds and mattresses, pressure care systems, maternity beds, bariatric beds and mattresses, ITU critical care and paediatrics and a managed service option comprising service and repair, decontamination, asset tracking, project management and clinical nurse adviser.

Historically, the Trust has generally purchased standard bed frames and mattresses and rented pressure care systems and bariatric beds. The Trust will consider a range of purchase and rental arrangements.

The purpose of the Framework is to meet the Trust"s requirements over the next 4 years as they arise. The Trust is not proposing wholesale replacement of any equipment at Framework start or necessarily at any stage during the Framework term.

Suppliers may select from one or more Lots. The Trust would welcome innovative and cost effective solutions.
