3.1. The subject of this contract is the construction of a transfer node at Wolski Square in Bytom along with the adaptation of the communication system.
3.2. The subject of the order consists of:
a) building of a transfer node.
The building was designed on a rectangular plan, as a compact building, with a cubature of approx. 105 000 m
b) communication system (within the interchange building);
c) communication system (reconstruction of the intersection system on the DK 94 section - from Kolejowa St. to K. Miarki St. together with technical infrastructure as part of the investment without the construction of a tram track);
d) service base of PKP PLK SA

3.2. The subject of the order consists of:
a) building of a transfer node.
The building was designed on a rectangular plan, as a compact building, with a cubature of approx. 105 000 m
The facility is to be equipped with all necessary installations supplying utilities. The following will be installed in the facility:
- running water,
- sanitary sewage system installation,
- storm water drainage,
- installation of mechanical ventilation and air conditioning,
- fire protection installation (including smoke extraction for staircases),
- electrical lighting and sockets installation,
- low voltage installation, including SAP, telecommunication, monitoring and IT,
- Lightning protection,
- natural gas installation,
- central heating with a boiler room,
- solar installation.
In addition, the building is to be equipped with passenger lifts (with electric drive);
b) communication system (within the interchange building).
The designed road system is located under and around the building, a square is also planned on the eastern side of the proposed station. The designed internal road system will be connected to the rebuilt DK 94 (Wolski Square). From the eastern side of the designed station building, a square with elements of landscape architecture was designed. A retaining wall was designed on the southern side of the square and the road.
Road design parameters:
- asphalt mix surface,
- traffic category KR5,
- maximum speed 30 km / h,
- road width within the railway station area: 4.0–14.4 m,
- cross slope on roads 1.5% to 2.0%;
c) communication system (reconstruction of the intersection system on the DK 94 section - from Kolejowa St. to K. Miarki St. along with technical infrastructure as part of the investment without the construction of a tram track).
The designed circular road system largely runs along the trail of existing roads and aims to properly connect the newly designed interchange:
- reconstruction of DK 94 (Wolskiego Square, Kolejowa Street, K.Miarki Street),
- reconstruction of DK 11 (ul. Powstańców Warszawskich).
Technical classes of the road: pl. Wolskiego, ul. Kolejowa, ul. Warsaw Insurgents, ul. K. Miarki - class "Z"; ul. S. Moniuszki, ul. Sądowa, ul. Jagiellońska - class "L".
Road design parameters:
- traffic category KR5,
- permissible speed 40 km / h,
- road width: 5.0–13.4 m (depending on the number of lanes),
- pavement width 1.5-4.0 m,
- width of bicycle paths 1.5-3.0 m;
d) service base of PKP PLK SA
In connection with the liquidation of PKP PLK property, it is necessary to restore some of the PKP PLK facilities in the field of:
- construction of a goods ramp,
- utilities,
- road part,
- the track section.
