The Kath. Krankenhaus Hagen gem. GmbH intends to close the Elsey Hospital with its somatic departments of surgery, internal medicine, ENT and gynecology and to convert it into a specialist clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy. The aim is to merge the psychiatric department of Hagen Hospital with the existing psychiatry department at the Elsey site. In order to implement this measure, considerable replanning and conversion measures are required. For this purpose, various construction services must be put out to tender and awarded. The described measure is funded by the Hospital Structural Fund in accordance with §§ 1ff. of the Hospital Financing Act (KHG).

The existing Elsey hospital is to be converted into a specialist clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy. For this purpose, the existing building is to undergo considerable reconstruction measures. As this is a conversion during ongoing operation, it will be carried out in three construction phases. The conversion measures are expected to start in January 2022 and be completed by the end of 2025.

The subject of this procedure is the construction work of construction phases 2 and 3.

In all construction phases, the spatial structures of the existing building will be changed and adapted to use for psychiatric and psychotherapeutic purposes.

The 2nd construction phase includes the 2nd floor of building A and the basement, ground floor and 2nd floor of component C.

The 3rd construction phase includes the ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and attic of component D.

In both construction phases, old wallpaper coverings are removed, the rooms in the expansion are re-wallpapered and painted and door frames are coated.

BA 3:

- Wallpaper on walls approx. 5,000 m2

- Painting on walls approx. 600 m2

- Wallpaper / painting on ceilings approx. 1,800 m2
