The acquisition shall be carried out in the form of a turnkey principle, including, inter alia, machinery and furnishings specified in the Annexes to the Call for Tender, delivery, installation and testing, service guidance, training and warranty maintenance.
Background of acquisition
The renovation and expansion of Kirkonkylä school in Pirkkala will be completed in January 2023. In this context, the school is expanding into a two-series school for approximately 350 pupils.
The school's expansion section will be completed with a learning environment for hand skills, where classrooms for technical and textile work and fine arts are located. The object of the acquisition include machinery, fixtures and hand tools for teaching rooms of technical work.
A new curriculum (OPS2016) has been based on the design of the learning environment for skills and art subjects at Kirkonkylä School. The teaching of crafts is no longer divided into aspects of technical work and textile work, teaching is a common teaching of crafts. For this reason, it is important that the teaching facilities be closely spaced and as multifunctional as possible
DESCRIPTION OF TEACHING FACILITIES
The floor plan of the teaching facilities is attached 2. The floor plan is final. The directional furniture placement is attached 3. The learning environment for technical work includes separate working areas, data center, hot treatment and surface treatment space, and a grinding room. Naturally, the safety distances of machines must be taken into account in all spaces.
MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
The list of machinery and equipment to be purchased is set out in Annex 1. Mandatory requirements are presented for machines and equipment.
For a list of furnishings to be purchased, see Annex 1. All furnishings must be suitable for educational use and withstand continuous use. They are suitable for their purpose both in terms of material, technical characteristics and design.
The presented products should be given a clear description as well as the price.
HAND TOOLS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
The group sizes designed for classrooms are 16 pupils. Thus, hand tools and protective equipment are required for that number of pupils.
INSTALLATION SCHEDULE
Delivery and installation of machinery and equipment is 1-30 November 2022.
Other products and bulk furniture included in the whole, delivered and installed by 31 January 2023.
Teaching facilities for technical work will be commissioned on 1 February 2023.
