Description:
The Police Service Center is seeking professionals for temporary staff hiring in the procurement category, including buyers, product and service managers, lead contract managers, and implementation managers.
Dynamic purchasing system category Purchasing

The Police hires temporary staff through the Police Hiring Desk and aims to appeal to a diversity of providers, regardless of the organizational form. The Police Hiring Desk is published as a dynamic purchasing system under the 2012 Procurement Act. As of 18.4.2016, the Public Procurement Directive (2014/24) will apply to this and the Hiring Desk will fall under the regime of that Directive.

This category concerns the temporary hiring of personnel with purchasing expertise. To qualify for future contracts, suppliers can submit a Request for Authorization for this category. This is possible on the website www.inhuurdeskpolitie.nl

The Acquisition Service is part of the Police Service Center (PDC). The service acquires services, products and works for the police. This varies from coffee to vehicles and from training to firearms. The service consists of the acquisition sector Operations, Operations and IV. Within these three sectors, category managers, product and service managers, purchasers, implementation managers and lead contract managers work together to make and keep available the services and products to be acquired. The sectors are supported by the Information, Analysis and Assessment team. About 120 passionate professionals work at the Acquisition Service. The service is spread over various PDC locations in the country and buys for approximately EUR 2 000 000 000 per year.

The service works closely with requirement assessors, users and suppliers. We work on a project basis. Together we draw up plans in which we describe in the medium term what the developments are internally and externally and what this means for the acquisition of goods and services. The department pays a lot of attention to quality and knowledge management.

For the DAS category "procurement", the Police is regularly looking for professionals, such as:

- buyers,

- product and service managers,

- lead contract managers,

- implementation managers.

In 2018 and 2019, an average of seven inquiries were issued per year for the purchasing category. The Police intends to use the category for a term of five years, starting from 21.3.2020, with an option to extend it by two times twelve months.
