Full name of the procedure: Retrofitting of the in vivo animal imaging system with Xray together with an inhalation anesthesia kit allowing for lifetime imaging of luminescence, fluorescence and Xray in live animals with the admission of partial offers, case designation: AZP-261-39/2023.

The subject of the contract is the retrofitting of an in vivo animal imaging system with Xray together with an inhalation anesthesia kit allowing for lifetime imaging of luminescence, fluorescence and Xray in live animals. The procurement procedure has been divided into two (2) lots in order to allow separate tenders for these lots.

A detailed description of the minimum technical and functional parameters and other requirements for the subject of the contract for a given part is included in Annexes 2.1, 2.2. to the SWZ – Parameters form for a given part. The contract for each part will be concluded separately.

The subject of the contract in part no. 1 are retrofitting parts for the X-RAD 225XL Precision X-Ray imagesetter, which will allow safe irradiation of small animals for research purposes and accurate measurement of the radiation beam in real time. The X-RAD 225XL imagesetter from Precision X-ray, currently located at the Institute, has the basic functions and equipment to irradiate cells or irradiate the whole body of small organisms (such as mice or rats). The retrofitting parts for the X-RAD 225XL that are the subject of the contract will allow for accurate measurement of the applied radiation in real time as well as irradiation of precise areas in animals, such as the head or side, using a collimator or when protecting other parts of the body with lead caps protecting against harmful radiation. Thanks to this, experiments with animal irradiation can be carried out in a more precise way.

The subject of the contract must be offered with a minimum warranty period of 24 months in accordance with the requirements described in the draft contract in § 5 "Warranty and service conditions". Offers offering a shorter warranty period than indicated will be rejected. Contractors may propose a longer warranty period in their tenders. Offering a longer warranty period is one of the criteria for evaluating offers.

The subject of the contract in lot no. 2 is a device for anesthesia of laboratory animals (mouse, rat) compatible with the equipment for lifetime imaging of animals called Ami HTX (Spectra! instruments imaging) present at the Institute. By compatibility, the customer understands the possibility of connecting the device with the AMi HTX equipment that ensures functional cooperation of both devices.
