The purpose of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement with one (1) tenderer that possesses specialist resources with documented expertise and solid experience with personal injury compensation.

The contract will primarily secure SPK, Insurance Section, efficient access to legal assistance in personal injury cases, and can also apply to claims for compensation in accordance with the special schemes for military personnel.

The purpose of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement with one (1) tenderer that possesses specialist resources with documented expertise and solid experience with personal injury compensation.

The contract will primarily secure SPK, Insurance Section, efficient access to legal assistance in personal injury cases, and can also apply to claims for compensation in accordance with the special schemes for military personnel.

At times there can also be a need for external assistance for operative consultancy services and professional internal auditing (for example, reviewing cases). The need can arise for different reasons, e.g., complexity, extraordinary cases and legal incapacity. There can, amongst other things due to security reasons, be a need for consultants to be present in SPK's premises. The assistance need can cover all types of cases, both the processing of complex claims in accordance with the Occupational Injury Insurance Act, the Vehicle Liability Act, and claims for compensation in accordance with the special schemes in the Norwegian defence. The need for assistance can vary significantly from year to year.

Other types of assistance can be required, in the form of advice, both in specific cases and for development work, as well as holding courses, etc.
