Modernization of AOK building with customer center in Pforzheim

(kurz AOK-NWS-PF)

AOK Baden-Württemberg intends to modernize the administration building with customer center in Pforzheim.

The building is located in Zerrennerstraße in a central location in Pforzheim. It is a front building along Zerrennerstraße and a rear building, which can be reached from Simmlerstraße.

The building complex consists of a front and a rear building, the two are connected by an intermediate building.

Front building:

Solid construction, originally built as a residential building with hipped roof, originally built around 1900, reconstruction of ground floor to attic and partial basement 1956, six floors including basement, plus undeveloped attic

Intermediate building:

Solid construction with flat roof, built in 1956, transition between front and rear building on the 3rd floor

Back:

Solid construction, originally built as a production building with a flat hipped roof, built around 1900, partially rebuilt in 1950, four floors including partial basement (technology)

Technical equipment:

Heating District heating, cooling decentralised air conditioning units for individual rooms, ventilation via windows

The total floor area is approx. 916 m², the total gross floor plan area for all floors (without attic) amounts to approx. 4,336 m², the gross volume (without the undeveloped hipped roof) is approx. 15,358 m³.

The building is constantly being maintained, and a final partial modernization took place in 2004.

The building is used for customer service in an AOK Customer Center as well as the internal administration of the AOK District Directorate Northern Black Forest.

Objectives of the planning in the course of modernization:

- Energetic renovation (technology, insulation, summer thermal insulation)

- Modernization of the administrative areas (customer friendliness, accessibility, discretion, multi-space work surface

Planned key figures:

ca. 2,970 m² Nutzungsfläche (Verwaltungsfläche)
