Following the adoption of the Remote Gambling Act (hereinafter: KOA), the Ksa will be assigned, among other things, tasks aimed at preventing gambling addiction as much as possible. To support these new tasks, the Ksa has prepared itself in recent years by describing the process of voluntary and involuntary exclusion of games of chance and developing a supporting application, Central Register for the Exclusion of Chances of Playing (CRUKS). The Ksa has had the CRUKS developed and tested in-house so that when the KOA Act enters into force on 1.7.2021, all license holders for a license for online gambling are connected to the CRUKS. CRUKS is made available online and must be managed (both functional and technical (application) management) and can be adjusted or further developed in the future.

1) Hosting;

2) Application management: makes adjustments to the software for CRUKS during the management phase (including software adjustments to connected systems, such as BVNN and DigiD);

3) Technical management: ensures the proper functioning, security and maintenance of the systems on which the software for CRUKS runs and the connections associated with it (eg gaming providers, BVNBN, DigiD, etc.);

4) Further development: application developments whereby the CRUKS Provision remains up-to-date with regard to current legislation and regulations and the performance of KSA's tasks remains possible;

5) Help desk services for:

(a) gaming providers,

(b) Ksa employees,

(c) and (prospective) tenderers in CRUKS and registered in CRUKS. This target group with possibly a gambling addiction can call because of a registration in CRUKS. This can evoke angry and / or emotional responses. Employees of the tenderer must be able to handle this.
