The requirement is for the provision of Engineering Services and Scheduled Sustainment of the Solid State Phased Array Radar (SSPAR) at RAF Fylingdales, North Yorkshire.

The Contractor will be required to ensure the provision of a range of maintenance (refurbishment and replacement) activities, of varying complexity over a multi-year programme; expected (but not guaranteed) period April 2018 to end March 2020.

The Contractor will be required to ensure the provision of a range of maintenance (refurbishment and replacement) activities, of varying complexity over a multi-year programme; expected (but not guaranteed) period April 2018 to end March 2020.

The SSPAR must remain available for operation, the provisioned activities must be scheduled/carried out in a manner which minimize, non-availability of the Radar System.

The Contractor will be expected to work closely with the Operation and Maintenance Contractor (currently Serco), to ensure timely completion of work in order to maximize system availability.
