Bergen municipality and collaborating municipality shall enter into a framework agreement with one total supplier for the delivery of tools, tool accessories and associated products, including ladders, some fasteners, tool storage, workshop furnishings and cargo securing equipment. 

The framework agreement includes tools and associated products. Painting tools (brushes, rollers, fillers, etc.) are exempted, as a separate contract has been signed.

The framework agreement will not apply for Bergen Municipality's department Bergen Vann, which will sign a separate contract. In Bergen Municipality, the framework agreement will primarily be used by units that provide technical services, for example, the Agency for Building and Property, or Bergen Fire Service, but also by other municipal units that need tools. Professional quality products must be delivered. This means products required by the professional users.

The framework agreement will have e-commerce as its only ordering channel. Ordering through other channels (sale over the counter, ordering over the telephone or email, or equivalent) will not be allowed, unless the product that is required is not covered by the e-commerce catalogue that the tenderer must regularly upload.
