Research services applied to the study of the capabilities of 6G architectures based on NTNWith the realization of the aforementioned lot 1 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:
Evaluate and quantify the capabilities of NTN architectures for the provision of functions and services planned for 6G. To this end, the contractor shall produce a scientific publication containing the scenario, the analysis process, the results of the analysis, a quantification of capabilities of the NTN architecture based on simulations and the conclusions.
Applied research services for the security development of the satellite constellation orchestratorWith the realization of the aforementioned lot 2 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:
Security development of the orchestrator of the satellite constellation. For this purpose, the contractor must prepare a document that presents the technical requirements to be met by said development, design a solution proposal according to said requirements, and make a demonstrator that shows the security aspects necessary to implement a unified orchestrator of terrestrial and non-terrestrial infrastructures.
Applied research services for the development of a flexible ISL device for heterogeneous satellitesWith the realization of the aforementioned lot 3 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:
Development of a flexible ISL device for heterogeneous satellites. For this purpose, the contractor must make a document presenting the technical requirements to be met by the developed device and design a solution, manufacture a prototype of the flexible ISL system, as well as carry out a verification carried out with the demonstrator on the validity of the proposed solution and the prototype manufactured.
Applied research services for the development of a threat study in the field of heterogeneous satellite networksWith the realization of the aforementioned lot 4 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:
Research oriented to the analysis related to potential threats in satellite systems. To this end, the contractor must produce a document and a scientific publication containing the study of these threats, as well as a list of recommendations and potential solutions in the form of a technological roadmap.
Applied research services for the development of distributed security mechanisms for ISLWith the realization of the aforementioned lot 5 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:
Development of distributed security mechanisms for ISL, considering threats that affect the different scenarios of NTN network use cases. To this end, the contractor must prepare a document that presents the technical requirements to be met by these mechanisms, and develop a demonstrator of the proposed security solution that verifies the achievement of authentication, data integrity and confidentiality.
Applied research services for the development of mechanisms for mass satellite communicationsWith the realization of the aforementioned lot 6 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:
Research oriented to the study on the mechanisms applied to mass communications for an optimal exploitation of a service satellite link, defined as the interface between satellites and a large number of UEs. To this end, the contractor must produce a document presenting the technical requirements to be met by these mechanisms, develop a demonstrator of the mass communications system and produce a scientific publication presenting the results of the study and the verification carried out with the demonstrator in a scenario representative of the object of the study.
Applied research services for the development of satellite-synchronised energy-saving mechanismsWith the realization of the aforementioned lot 7 of the contractual object, the contracting authority intends to cover the following needs and / or functionalities:
Research aimed at studying the energy saving modes of user equipment synchronized with satellites for optimal use of energy resources. To this end, the contractor shall produce a document presenting the technical requirements to be met by these energy-saving modes and a solution proposal, develop a demonstrator of the proposed energy-saving mode and produce a scientific publication presenting the results of the study and verification carried out with the demonstrator in a representative scenario.

Development of a hardware system that is capable of virtualizing satellite payloads. To this end, the contractor shall produce a document presenting the technical requirements to be met by the flexible payload architecture together with a solution design proposal, and develop a hardware and software prototype according to the proposed solution.
