Patient entertainment

Chemnitz gGmbH Klinikum intends to equip around 1,600 beds with a modern and future-proof patient entertainment solution and patient call systems (delivery, installation, commissioning and service) at its sites in Chemnitz.

Chemnitz gGmbH Klinikum intends to equip around 1,600 beds with a modern and future-proof patient entertainment solution based primarily on multimedia terminals or set-top boxes for IP TV (television) services at its locations in Chemnitz,

IP radio, telephony, browser/Internet, Internet via WLAN (BYOD), film library/media library, audiobook library, kiosk (daily newspapers, illustrated), weather information, freely configurable surveys, digital leaflet, content management system for administrable content and help functions.

There is no obligation to purchase the total quantity of the specified equipment for the above-mentioned beds.

A price is fixed for all hardware components over the contract period of 60 months.

Existing installations of existing systems must be dismantled in consultation with the client. The multimedia terminals are preferably to be installed by means of bedside brackets or by means of wall or ceiling arms. The connection is made via the existing inhomogeneous line infrastructure (10 different connection methods/mixed operation of structured cabling LAN CAT5/CAT6a copper cabling). Active LAN components must be able to be installed by the applicant. Routing to the hospital's existing WLAN infrastructure is possible.

The services/services should only be invoiced cashless at the multimedia terminal via common payment service providers.

The patient is identified via the patient bracelet or QR code recording sheet (scan 2D barcode).

It must be possible to authorize clinicians via RFID readers (MIFARE DESFire EV2) integrated into the multimedia terminals.

The system must enable coupling to the AG's HIS via the HL7 FHIR interface.

Patient entertainment must be able to be integrated into a central patient portal (website/native application iOS and Android) via an API interface or an SDK framework.

Essential requirements for patient entertainment are:

Compliance with hygiene requirements, high availability and reliability of the solution, simple multilingual usability and accessibility for users, and the possibility of flexible adaptation and further development of the solution.

Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH intends to equip various registration and waiting areas with patient call systems at its sites within Chemnitz or replace existing systems. The subject of these patient call systems is a web-based system with the following basic functionalities:

- Check-in terminals as pedestal (barrier-free) with integrated QR code scanner, health card reader, touch display with switchable language selection, fever measurement camera, receipt printer with cutter

- Set-top box for connecting external LCD/LED screens: connection via LAN or WLAN, integration of the AG CI, visual and acoustic display of waiting numbers

- Ticket printer (for manual patient admission)

- API interface or an SDK framework for a planned patient portal (web application and native app).

Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH plans to digitize various systems in a central patient portal (not the subject of this allocation procedure).

The patient entertainment offered together with the patient call facilities must support at least the following functions or communicate with the patient app via API interface or an SDK framework:

- User registration via OAuth2 or OpenID Connect

- appointment booking and digital check-in (patient portal and patient call facilities)

- Booking and cashless payment of patient entertainment services

- different interactions with the patient entertainment system

- Communication interfaces with the patient (e.g. push notification, e-mail, etc. via patient portal if necessary)

For patient entertainment and patient call systems, the applicant must be able to offer a maintenance and service contract for a period of 60 months.

The reaction times in case of accidents or faults should be:

Weekdays (excluding public holidays in Saxony): Monday — Friday 8:00 — 16:00:2h Outside these hours: 8h

The maintenance and service contract must meet the following requirements:

- Remote access on demand compliant with the client's security requirements

- Maintain and restore software operational readiness

- Updating the software

- periodic maintenance, monitoring and reporting of the software application and the

system behavior

- Documentation and escalation of faults

- Telephone hotline

- Ticket system
