A waiting room agreement will be concluded with the second highest ranked tenderer in the event of default on the part of the tenderer with whom the main contract is concluded. On date x (see tender document), the Client will decide whether the main agreement will be continued, with which the waiting room agreement will lapse or whether the waiting room agreement will be converted into the main agreement. The waiting room contractor will be informed of this in writing. The draft waiting room agreement can be found in Appendix J.
