The framework agreement shall be entered into with one - 1 - provider who has access to professional resources with documented legal expertise and solid experience with financial regulatory legislation, contract law, tax law and company law.
The framework agreement is intended to provide the Asset Management Field legal assistance and advice related to:
- Definition of the Norwegian Pension Scheme for the Pharmacy sector (Norwegian: POA), status/client classification
- Contract formations
- Monitoring relevant financial regulatory legislation

The Asset management field includes three administrators and four employees as administration support. Administration support is a versatile team with good expertise in many areas related to the operation of a pension company. However, the number of tasks related to compliance is increasing and the complexity of agreements with fund providers, banks, brokerage houses and other counterparties is increasing. It challenges the efficiency of the operation of the pension scheme and promotes a need to reinforce the legal expertise.
The external legal adviser shall mainly provide support in the three areas mentioned above, or on other related legal issues in accordance with requirements.
