The aim of the Contracting Authority of this tender procedure was to conclude in a transparent way a contract with 1 contracting party on the terms and conditions of the Contracting Authority, for the supply to NOVA of Cryogenic Low-Noise amplifiers that shall:

— Cover the operating frequency range of 4.0-8.0 GHz;

— Be used for at least 15 years in a high vacuum and at temperatures less than 15 Kelvin; and — Be produced according to a Contracting Authority supplied Procurement Specification, PS, with requirements that include noise figure, input and output VSWR, a minimum and maximum gain, a maximum gain ripple, a maximum power dissipation and compatibility with a user-specified bias system. Part of the project is not only delivery of the product, but also qualification of the manufacturing process and qualification of the reproducibility of the products.
