Description:
Performing active protection treatments in Natura 2000 areas: Józefów - Wola Dębowiecka PLH180011, Mrowle Łąki PLH180043 and Łukawiec PLH180024.

1. The subject of the contract is the implementation of active protection treatments in Natura 2000 areas: Józefów - Wola Dębowiecka PLH180011, Mrowle Łąki PLH180043, and Łukawiec PLH180024.

2. The Purchaser divided the order into 3 lots:

1) Part No. 1: Performing active protective measures - (...) of the Natura 2000 area Józefów - Wola Dębowiecka PLH180011,

2) Part No. 2: Performing active protective measures - (...) of the Natura 2000 Mrowle Łąki PLH180043 area,

3) Part No. 3: Performing active protective measures - (...) Natura 2000 Łukawiec PLH180024.

3. A detailed description of the subject of the contract is set out in Annex 1 to the ToR.


Performing active protective measures - removing trees and shrubs and removing the resulting biomass (...) in the Natura 2000 area Józefów - Wola Dębowiecka PLH180011

A detailed description of the subject of the contract is attached as Annex 1 to the ToR.

The subject of the contract includes field work, including:

1) removal of trees and shrubs from an area of approximately 3.44 ha should be done manually, with light equipment that does not come into contact with the ground, it is allowed to use e.g. saws, saws, axes, pruning shears, machetes, scythes, brushcutters or mountain hoes . The work should be carried out at or below the root neck. The felling works will be carried out outside the breeding season of birds, i.e. from October 16, with the exception referred to in Part IV, para. 18. Works will be carried out on plots of land indicated in Table No. 1 and Table No. 2;

2) after the works are completed, the area should be cleaned up. Material obtained from the works must not be burned in valuable habitats. It should be brought to the places indicated in the study to temporary places of biomass storage for further transport or chopped. Small sorts (branches) can be chopped at designated biomass storage locations. However, thicker assortments should be cut into shorter pieces. No grubbing up work is required on the surfaces indicated;

3) the contractor is required to use technically sound equipment, minimizing the risk of possible leaks of technical fluids (fuels, oils, lubricants, etc.).

1) removal of trees and shrubs from a total area of about 1.2 ha (area of about 0.6 ha in the enclave in Wola Cicha + area of about 0.6 ha in the enclave in Rudna Mała and Mrowla) should be done manually , light equipment not having contact with the ground, it is allowed to use e.g. saws, saws, axes, pruners, machetes, scythes, brushcutters or mountain hoes. The work should be carried out at or below the root neck. The felling works will be carried out outside the breeding season of birds, i.e. from October 16, with the exception referred to in Part IV, para. 18. Works will be carried out on plots of land indicated in Table No. 3 and Table No. 4;

2) after the works are completed, the area should be cleaned up. Material obtained from the works must not be burned in valuable habitats. It should be brought to your destination

The subject of the contract includes field work, including:

1) for the natural habitat code 6410

a) removal of trees and shrubs from an area of approximately 5.01 ha should be done manually, with light equipment not in contact with the ground, it is allowed to use e.g. saws, saws, axes, pruning shears, machetes, scythes, brushcutters or mountain hoes . The work should be carried out at or below the root neck. The felling works will be carried out outside the breeding season of birds, i.e. from October 16, with the exception referred to in Part IV, para. 18. Works will be carried out on plots of land indicated in Table No. 5;

b) after completing the work, the area should be cleaned up. Material obtained from the works must not be burned in valuable habitats. It should be brought to the places indicated in the study to temporary places of biomass storage for further transport or chopped. Small sorts (branches) can be chopped at designated biomass storage locations. However, thicker assortments should be cut into shorter pieces. No grubbing up work is required on the surfaces indicated;

c) the contractor is required to use technically sound equipment, minimizing the risk of possible leaks of technical fluids (fuels, oils, lubricants, etc.).

2) for the natural habitat code 7140:

a) reducing the occurrence of late goldenrod from Solidago gigantea from an area of approximately 1.58 ha should be done by hand mowing with light equipment that does not come into contact with the ground. The resulting biomass must be removed from the surface of the habitat. The works will be carried out on the plots indicated in Table No. 6;

b) after completing the work, the area should be cleaned up. Material obtained from the works must not be burned in valuable habitats. It should be brought to the places indicated in the study to temporary places of biomass storage for further transport;

(c) temporary storage of swath is also possible elsewhere, provided that:

- will be located outside the habitats being the subject of protection in the area, in particular outside the habitats 7140 Transitional peat bogs and quaking bogs of the Scheuchzerio-Caricetea and 6410 Molinion changeable wet meadows;

- biomass will be exported shortly (up to 2 weeks) after deposit;

d) the contractor must use technically sound equipment, minimizing the risk of possible leaks of technical fluids (fuels, oils, lubricants, etc.).
