The University of York is looking to design and build a 2 000 m² laboratory on its Heslington West campus in York.

Estimated value of the scheme is £5.0m, excluding VAT.

It is envisaged that construction will begin by no later than June 2013 with the building being operational by no later than 31.8.2014.

This Notice is for the design and build contract for this scheme.

It is envisaged that short listed candidates will be provided with a RIBA Stage D design to bid against, with the Client's design team likely to be novated to the chosen Contractor.
