As the provider of school transport (§ 161 Hessian School Act), the Hochtaunuskreis is responsible for the transport of children attending preparatory classes. According to § 18 para. 2 of the Hessian School Act, children can be admitted to preparatory classes who are not yet physically, mentally or emotionally developed at the beginning of compulsory schooling to be able to participate successfully in lessons.
There are currently four places of demand for 31 pupils; this results in the following lot formation:
1. Kronthal-Schule (61476 Kronberg, Heinrich-Winter-Str. 2)
2. Burgwiesenschule (61440 Oberursel, Lange Str. 108 A)
3. Limesschule (61273 Wehrheim, Schulstr. 7-9)
4. Grundschule Am Hasenberg (61267 Neu-Anspach, Goldammerweg 2).
The trips are to be carried out for 4 school years, starting with the school year 2023/2024 up to and including 2026/2027; there are no trips during the holidays.
There is an extension option for the 2027/2028 school year.
Changes to the transport requirements (number of pupils, routes, etc.) are possible depending on the actual conditions.
