The subject of the procurement is the intelligent prison solution including software, devices and services within the time frame and scope of the procurement.

In the first phase an intelligent prison solution is implemented at a new women's prison in Hämeenlinna at fall 2020.

In the next phase the intelligent prison solution is expanded within the limits of budget funding to the two new prisons scheduled for completion by 2022.

At a later stage, the aim is to have the contract cover the 15 closed prisons in Finland with a total of slightly more than 2 000 prisoner places and 1 500 staff members.
