The main issues of the project are:
— manage the obsolescence of the Service Manager, ITAC and Aistel tools;
— to equip the H24 rooms on the ticketing function;
— harmonize processes by working on the commons;
— facilitate national and cross-cutting analyses;
— facilitate the management of contractual relations (SLA, pilotage, etc.).
At the heart of RTE's digital transformation, the Directorate of Information Systems and Telecommunications (DSIT) supports the evolution of RTE's businesses by creating new digital solutions and leveraging the associated infrastructure.
The project is to replace the three applications described below:
— Service Manager is the ITSM tool for the Tertiary and Office IT domains. It manages incidents, requests, and problems on the Office Automation and Tertiary IS domains. It is based on the HP Service Manager tool, in its version 9.3. This tool is now outdated. Version climbs are made very complex, due to the large amount of specific developments that have been made there;
— ITAC is the CMDB of the Office and Tertiary SI domains. This tool is based on HP Asset Manager 5.22. It is old and outdated;
— Aistel manages incidents and requests in the Industrial, Telecom and ASI Equipment fields. It is an application based on BMC Remedy 8.1.02. Like Service Manager, this application is outdated, but version upgrades are too complex because of too many specific developments. It is based on Infotel and Infoposte repositories.
