1.2 Scope and purpose

The framework agreement in the area of VA and contracting services includes work for the HVAA in plumbing, civil engineering, and labor management including administration. Both daytime work (weekdays 07:00-16:00) and during emergency hours (weekdays 16:00-07:00 and round-the-clock during Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) are included in the agreement. Note that the works are actively directed to be essentially performed during regular working hours, and in a few single cases on overtime. HVAA procures a contractor committed to providing HVAA's needs for VA contracting services within the drinking water, waste water and stormwater management network.

The framework agreement includes operational maintenance and new investment for HVAA's management network. The mission consists partly of smaller VA works, such as the preparation of leaks on the drinking water lines and replacement of fixtures (e.g., shut-off valves, service valves, descent wells, covering, gauge wells, bottlers, deventing), partly of new plant. The new installation includes the reception of new services and also the laying of main wires.

The VA contractor shall provide the required machinery services and transport services.

Activities relating to the framework agreement area may be carried out under their own auspices. In such cases, the Framework Agreement is to be considered as a complement to its own activities.

Note that there may already be existing agreements for activities that concern the scope of the framework agreement. These agreements do not expire as a result of this framework agreement.

The municipality of Härryda may also call off.

The HVAA intends to sign Framework Agreements with a (1) Contractor.
