The winter maintenance career comprises the Asematien, Alkkulanrait and light traffic lanes located in the municipality of Ylitornio, as well as the lanes of Niurontie and light traffic in it.

The municipality of Ylitornio is requesting bids for winter maintenance from contractors for the 2022 — 2027 winter seasons. The offer price will be tied to the average fuel prices in accordance with Statistics Finland's consumer price index (average price of light fuel oil, March 2022). The contractor gives a fixed-price price for the winter season.

The winter maintenance career comprises the Asematien, Alkkulanrait and light traffic lanes located in the municipality of Ylitornio, as well as the lanes of Niurontie and light traffic in it.

Work includes winter maintenance of streets, sidewalks, pedestrian and bike paths, separate light traffic avenues, and stop canopies listed below. The area is defined in the attached map.

- Asemaroad approx. 0,28 km

- Niurontie approx. 0,25 km

- light traffic lanes approx. 0,35 km (260 m + 90 m)
