The IVAR Water Treatment Plant at Langevatn is the largest and supplies over 300 000 persons with drinking water. Krokaheia Waterworks is located in Strand municipality and is the primary supply to the Jørpeland — Tau area. Hjelmeland Waterworks supplies Hjelmeland municipality. Oltedal Waterworks supplies 800 persons in Oltedal, Dirdal Waterworks in Gjesdal supplies the Gilja and Dirdal areas.

Objective and scope:
Process chemicals will be procured for the operation of water treatment plants run by IVAR IKS. The process chemicals include:
• sodium hypochlorite15 % solution (chlorine);
• sodium hydroxide 50 % solution (lye);
• sodium sulphate in granules;
• iron chloride (PIX318);
• sodium silicate Krystazil 40 R17 and 40 R2.
Annual deliveries are estimated to be:

The quantities are estimated based on the existing consumption and anticipate future consumption in connection with the new water treatment plant at Langevatn. Regardless, the scope is variable due to the quality of the raw water. The estimated annual consumption is non binding for IVAR.
