The acquisition concerns the sports performance services (sports broadcasts / sports channel packages) acquired by Veikkaus as an outsourced service for Veikkaus' own gaming venues. The service package shall also include local/local reception and repetition equipment that are integral to the sports presentation service, including connection cabling, i.e. connection cables, adapters and other necessary accessories, as well as the necessary maintenance and maintenance services of the service and equipment, as well as the necessary software and programming work (e.g. user interface work for pads/controller devices).
The object of the acquisition is described in more detail in the invitation to tender and in its annexes, in particular in Annex 1 the description of the object of the acquisition.
On the basis of the tender process, a framework agreement is formed with the selected one (1) supplier.
The framework agreement applies to sports performance services (sports broadcasts / sports channel packages) procured by Veikkaus as an outsourced service for Veikkaus' own gaming venues. In accordance with the invitation to tender, Veikkaus will procure an entity for Veikkaus' casinos (Casino Helsinki and Casino Tampere) and for the gaming halls mentioned in Appendix 2a "Pelisalit 2023" (11) of the invitation to tender.
Veikkaus is launching a new gaming hall concept, which is why Veikkaus has piloted a new kind of modular gaming hall concept in 2022. Veikkaus is expanding the piloting of the gaming hall concept in the coming years. The role and scope of sports presentation services in the final concept and distribution will be specified later in accordance with commercial decisions, which leads to uncertainty regarding the number of services ordered under the framework agreement.
