The tender has as its object the assignment of the turf cutting service of the municipal green areas and complementary works and consists in the removal of trees, in the cutting of turf in flower beds, lawn areas, docks, poles and in general in the maintenance of greenery and any other work relating to public green areas, to be carried out in the places, at the times and according to the methods indicated in the technical performance specifications and the needs for safety measures that will arise during the activities following the reports received and any urgent interventions .

The service consists in the removal of trees, the cutting of grass in flowerbeds, lawn areas, quays, poles and in general the maintenance of greenery and any other work relating to public green, to be carried out in the places, times and according to the methods indicated in the technical performance specifications and the need for safety interventions that will arise during the activities following the reports received and any urgent interventions.

The activities of the service are as follows:

A) smoothing of green road meadows, parks and gardens, green areas belonging to public buildings, cemetery and valuable areas (cutting with collection);

B) cutting lawn areas with the mulching technique;

C) cutting lawn and undergrowth in newly planted wooded areas;

D) undergrowth cutting in wooded areas;

E) cutting grass in uncultivated municipal land;

F) weeding;

G) cutting grass in road borders, platforms and embankments;

H) pruning hedges, shrubs, vines;

I) arbor and tree arbor (lime, poplar and elm trees);

L) removal of the leaves from the external spaces belonging to the municipal buildings;

M) preparation and care of city center flower beds;

N) maintenance of the Falcone and Borsellino park pond area;

O) escarpment maintenance, via allo Stadio / p.le Linate;

P) various maintenance and safety measures for the arboreal and green heritage.

The interventions made to measure referred to in the aforementioned letter p), are provided on the basis of unforeseeable needs, and following atmospheric events or in cases of emergency and urgency, even at night and / or holidays and must be delivered by 2 ( two) hours from the first report, also by telephone by officials of the Municipality (local police, technician available).
