Cable tray work for expansion

Lot 1: Main cable route - tunnel area, U5 main station to Tierpark (tunnel mouth)

Lot 2: Cable route - free route, U5 Tierpark (tunnel mouth) to Hönow

Construction description Lot 1

Between the stations Hauptbahnhof and Tierpark (tunnel mouth), the cable and cable route work must be carried out on a total length of approx. 12,900 m, or 16 track sections with a total length of approx. 10,620 m and 17 platforms with a total length of approx. 2,280 m.

Approximately 80% of the work takes place exclusively during the nightly break in the danger zone of the subway. After each work shift, all cables, tools and other materials must be placed free of profiles and secured against slipping.

When dismantling, all fastening elements (screws, bolts, etc.) located in the route area and in the immediate vicinity (approx. 1.5 m) must be removed or sanded flat.

The route cable route is located on the tunnel wall in the track area. The height of the tunnel ceiling is up to approx. 5m. The cable route in the station is located under the platform. The height of the platform slab is up to approx. 1.5 m.

With a total weight of up to 600 kg, the route components provided by the Client are to be collected by the Contractor from the BVG interim storage facility and transported to the construction area.

All fastening materials required for the construction (wall/ceiling) are not provided by the client!
