UK Shared Business Services Ltd as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a contract for the purchase of Argo Floats capable of diving at least 4 000 metres.

NERC's National Oceanography Centre have a requirement for Argo Floats to sample the North and South Atlantic Oceans. All floats will measure Conductivity, Temperature and Depth. Floats are required to measure ocean depth in the subtropical South Atlantic, and must therefore have a depth capability of at least 4 000 metres.
