The object of this assignment requires the deliveries and works to maintain the teletransmission network of the Flemish Region in perfect condition.

The teletransmission network includes:

• the teletransmission cable network (both copper and fibre-optic guides, along the motorways,

regional roads and waterways);

• the cabins including electrical installations, protective cabinets and any

air conditioning systems;

• the cable heads and patch panels,

• the modems.

This assignment consists of works and deliveries for:

• repair of defects/faults on the teletransmission network within the specified time,

• preventive maintenance of the teletransmission network,

• moving (possibly in coordination) of remote transmission cables as a result of road work and

other infrastructure works,

• making new connections,

• formating/maintaining as-built plans and principle schedules of connections in the context of

works performed,

• adaptation works on the teletransmission network,

• phasing out copper network,

• studies of the works to be performed.
