The services are awarded as a service contract as part of an open procedure in accordance with the ordinance on the award of public contracts (Vergabeverordnung - VgV) and include transport services in exempted school traffic in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district to and from the "Burgbergschule Friedensdorf" in Dautphetal (lot 1) as well to and from the "Landgräfin-Elisabeth-Schule" in Stadtallendorf (lot 2).

The Burgbergschule Friedensdorf in Dautphetal is a special school with a focus on learning, linguistic development as well as social and emotional development (special school for learning assistance and educational assistance) with all-day offers. Students in grades 1-9 (elementary grades 1-4 and intermediate and vocational orientation grades 5-9) are taught.

As of the planning status January 2021, 52 schoolchildren are to be transported every school day in the exempted school transport according to the annex to the transport contract lot 1 "Schoolchildren transport list". The students get on and off at the respective public bus stops.

The pupils are transported either in accordance with

Option A:

- with vehicles of the categories "B, MB and KB" (B = standard bus; MB = midibus, KB = minibuses "8-seater plus driver"). The contractor must comply with the requirements of the annex to the transport contract lot 1 "vehicle categories". The transport performance can be driven with 1 standard bus, 1 midibus and 2 minibuses (1 standard bus can also be used instead of the midibus).

Or

Variation B:

- with vehicles of the "KB" category (KB = minibuses "8-seater plus driver"). The contractor must comply with the requirements of the annex to the transport contract lot 1 "vehicle categories". The transport service can be driven with 8 minibuses.

The Landgräfin-Elisabeth-Schule in Stadtallendorf is a special needs school including a pre-class with a focus on learning as well as social and emotional development with an all-day program. The preliminary class is intended to prepare school-age children who are not capable of school for school. By means of special support, the children should be enabled within a school year to be able to work successfully in grade 1. Students in grades 1-10 are taught (2 basic level classes, 2 intermediate level classes, 2 professional orientation classes).

As of the planning status January 2021, 37 schoolchildren, 4 of them in the pre-class, are to be transported in the exempted school transport according to the annex to the transport contract lot 2 "Schoolchildren transport list". The students are picked up or handed over at the front door of the apartment.

The pupils are transported with vehicles of the "KB" category (KB = minibuses "8-seater plus driver"). The contractor must comply with the requirements of the annex to the transport contract lot 2 "vehicle categories". The transport performance can be driven with a total of 6 minibuses.
