Provision of Molecular Diagnostic Systems for a Clinical Pathology Laboratory.

The Pathology Department provides a molecular testing service to Lancashire and South Cumbria in the North West of England. Molecular diagnostic systems are required to enable provision of this service, including (but not limited to) the supply of the following:

— Analysers, reagents and consumables,

— Maintenance,

— Training,

— Upgrades to software and technology,

— Estates refurbishment work/ installation,

— Process mapping and work-flow redesign,

— Validation / verification for accreditation purposes,

— Technical support.

Solutions provided must ensure that these are compliant with all accreditation and mandatory requirements including CPA/ UKAS. A managed service agreement would be considered.
