Acquisition, delivery and commissioning of an automated high-throughput combinatorial synthesis system on behalf of the Institut des Matériaux Poreux de Paris (IMAP UMR 8004)

As part of the national project PEPR DIADEM, the Institut des Matériaux Poreux de Paris (IMAP), UMR 8004 seeks to acquire an automated high-throughput combinatorial synthesis system for the accelerated discovery of functional materials.

The automated system must be able to carry out in a fully automated way, continuously and without external intervention: (I) chemical reactions, (II) the treatment of the solids obtained (recovery, washing, drying) at the end of step -I-, and (III) the distribution of the solids obtained in step -II- on multi-well sample holders (for example type "96 well plate") for analysis (for example by X-ray diffraction). The various tools used throughout the multi-step process must be compatible with chemical reagents and solvents that can sometimes be corrosive such as mono and multivalent metal salts (chloride, nitrate, sulfate, etc.), mineral acids (e.g., HCl, HNO3, H2SO4, etc.) and organic acids (e.g., formic, acetic, etc.), mineral bases (e.g., NaOH, KOH, etc.), etc.

Three optional additional services are offered:

EPS n°1: Accessory for carrying out reactions in controlled atmosphere.

EPS n°2: Device for carrying out photochemical reactions (under UV irradiation).
