The procurement concerns the insulation of internal facades in the SV building (UiB).
The procurement involves the use of technological innovation:
• Use of Aerolon as an insulation material on vertical surfaces in the building
• Development of methods for adding Aerolon to vertical steel surfaces
• Adding new insulation and breaking cold bridges by the use of Aerolon in functional buildings
The implementation will give an insulation effect with a thin layer (2-3 mm) and will make it possible to insulate steel surfaces without visible changes to the facade. The implementation will enable efficient insulation of surfaces, both in existing buildings and new buildings.
The technology is new and ground breaking and was supported by Enova in 2021 for a project in the Grieg Hall: Application to replace a glass facade in the Grieg Hall - new technology in Enova.
