The contest concerns oven guards for units that are in use in areas of dense wooden housing in Bergen municipality.

Bergen Fire Service will procure oven guards for units that are in use in areas of dense wooden housing in Bergen municipality within a framework of up to NOK 2,600,000 excluding VAT.

The oven guards must be of a type that has a middle barrier between the original socket and the plug of the oven. The offer must include installation and necessary user training.

The decision to grant free oven guards will be forwarded to the chosen tenderer, who must then agree upon a time for installation with the end user. Names, addresses and contact information will be sent to the chosen tenderer.

Ownership of the oven guard will be automatically transferred to the owner of the individual unit where the product is to be installed. All post-installation dialog should take place between the tenderer and the end user.

Stove guards that are installed as a result of this procurement must have a minimum warranty of 5 years.

The tenderer's obligations also apply to the end user. The relationship between the tenderer and the end user is regulated by the Act relating to consumer purchases
