The city of Rendsburg intends to further develop the areas of the former Eider barracks in terms of urban development and to establish a diverse and modern urban quarter with different building typologies and forms of housing with supplementary infrastructure such as schools and the like.

The development measure includes the traffic facilities and engineering structures in the area of B-Plans 97 and 98 (Lot 1) as well as the open spaces and landscaping work in the area of B-Plans 97, 98 and 99 (Lot 2).

B-plan 97:

Demolition of traffic areas in the area of existing buildings.

New construction or final expansion of an approx. 450 m long main access road.

New construction of an approx. 80 m long mixed traffic area and a footpath and cycle path.

Demolition foresee drainage pipes.

B-Plan 98:

Construction of an approx. 200 m long main access road.

Construction of access roads with a length of approx. 650 m.

The traffic areas will be paved with a temporary asphalt base course in a width between 4.00 and 6.00 m.

Demolition foresee Drainage lines from the former use of the area.

Construction of approx. 900 m of DN200 waste water sewers, pre-stretching of approx. 90 waste water house connections.

Production of approx. 150 m of sealed drainage troughs.

Construction of 5 DN1200 sand trap shafts with discharge into the planned drainage troughs.

B-Plan 97 and 98:

Earthworks for the laying of supply lines of Stadtwerke SH.

Laying cables and wires.

The construction project includes the expansion of the paved areas, the creation of playground areas with appropriate fall protection surfaces, extensive play facilities and equipment, equipment elements as well as earthworks and greening work. In addition, the measure includes civil engineering work for the entire outdoor lighting in the outdoor facilities for the municipal utilities.

The total area to be processed, with a size of approx. 38,500 m2, is composed as follows:
