The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks an innovative solution to provide an enhanced Pharmacy Outpatients Service within a Managed Service Contract with one service provider.

The service will include, but not be limited to, dispensing out-patient, day-case and community hospital prescriptions from on-site and/or off-site dispensaries. The solution offered should demonstrate a flexible approach to the delivery of pharmacy and health related services to patients and a willingness to develop additional services to meet the needs of patients which may include homecare solutions, services to other healthcare establishments e.g. prisons and occupational wellbeing services.

Depending on requirements and further discussions during the life of the contract, the service may be extended to include the provision of a dispensing service to the Urgent Care Centre (Operated by the Care and Support Partnership Community Interest Company trading as SEQOL).

Dispensing must be compliant with statutory and professional requirements of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and General Pharmaceutical Council and all staff must be fully trained to undertake their roles and work within formalised standard operating procedures.
