Aalto University was looking for a new financial and resource forecasting system. The solution should be modern, easy to use and fast to implement.

The budgets and forecasts are planned at project level (about 5 000 active projects). Income and expense items are planned at a monthly level for each project. Projects are consolidated to several levels of hierarchy, e.g. cost centers, departments, schools, university. Allocating personnel to projects is the most critical part of the planning.
