The service is one of the modalities of the home care services of the Social Services portfolio of Catalonia that, in accordance with Law 12/2007, of October 11, on social services, is regulated by Decree 142/2010, of October 11. The SAD is defined as an organized and coordinated set of actions that are basically carried out in the home of the person and / or family, aimed at providing personal attention, help at home and social support to those people and / or families with difficulties of development or social integration or lack of personal autonomy.
