Direktoratet for økonomistyring (DFØ) [the Norwegian Government Agency for Financial Management] has carried out to preliminary projects where we have mapped and identified processed with RPA automation potential in the area of accounts and wages.

We wish to introduce the use of RPA technology in our system solutions, initially for the processes identified in the above named preliminary projects. For these processes, we have an imminent need for procurement of RPA software, implementation of the software, setting up of the processes on the software, training of various user groups and preparation of associated documentation. In the long term, an expanded use of RPA technology could be used for further departments and/or multiple processes in DFØ.

With regard to assistance for process set up on the RPA software, we wants to prepare the necessary competence for internal resources as quickly as possible. The selected tenderer shall therefore ensure transfer of competence, i.a. in the form of training and/or side by side work. As a result of this, the impending procurement shall initially only include consultancy services to the process set up for selected processes. Consultancy services for process set up for further processes will be included in the options that DFØ can call of as needed. We want a fixed price on such assistance.

In the long term, an expanded use of RPA technology could be used for further departments and/or multiple processes in DFØ. At the same time as entering into framework agreements for addition purchasing in the RPA area, we also want, for example, expanded use of the software, set up of processes, training, consulting etc. The framework agreement will have a duration of 2 years + 1 year + 1 year.
