The city of Düren intends to award urban development services as part of the implementation of the Integrated Action Concept for downtown Düren. The subject of the service provision is a "redevelopment officer for the urban redevelopment area "Downtown Düren" for the years 2023 and 2024.

For the years 2023 and 2024, secured funding is available for the remuneration of a restructuring officer. The refurbishment order comprises the three service modules

2. District management and public relations

3. Activating real estate consulting

The implementation of the regulatory measures in the last seven years is already being accompanied and handled by an external restructuring officer and is now to be continued. In order to ensure a seamless transition to the work of the previous restructuring officer, the performance of the restructuring officer(s) for the period from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2024 is to be put out to tender with an extension option of two years. The external contractor should continue the established networks and structures of the restructuring officer, build on the extensive preparatory work and achieved goals and actively contribute to a high degree of stabilization. With the order, the completion of the overall measure is to be prepared and accompanied.
