Troms County, c/o SAMF Finance and Administration, plans to enter into a framework agreement for consultancy services for the electrification of up to 5 ferry routes in Troms.

In September 2018 Troms County had a pledge from ENOVA for just under 81 000 000 NOK for the electrification of 4 ferry routes. The first 2 that will be announced are amongst the 3 most cost efficient for electrification, so a decision has therefore been made that the Svensby — Breivikeidet and Lyngseidet — Olderdalen ferry routes will be electrified.

The aim of the procurement is to establish a Framework Agreement with a permanent supplier who can provide marine technical consultancy services in a broad marine technical field within ferry operations, for the preparing the tender documentation, holding the competition and contract follow-up.
