The purpose of the contract is to acquire a service produced professionally, timely and without fail as possible, environmentally and cost-effectively for VR-Yhtymä Oy (hereinafter referred to as Customer or VR).

VR Passenger services operate night trains between Southern and Northern Finland daily throughout the year. On average, there are normally 300,000 per year overnight stays.

The linen from the VR Group will be renewed over the next few years. The contract period is three (3) years + Two (2) option years.

Services under this acquisition cover the linen procurement of VR's Night Trains, which are further described in the Annexes to the Procurement Notice.
