The contract concerns the awarding of the «Supply of mobile devices and services for the staff of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group» and in particular:

- 32250000 - Mobile phones

- 30213200 - Tablet computer model

- 32260000 - Data transmission equipment

The contract relates to the awarding of the supply of mobile devices and services for the staff of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group. In particular, the subject of the contract concerns the supply of wireless telephony / data terminals (smartphones and tablets, multiple accessories, USB data-key and mobile wi-fi hot spots) with Android and iOS operating systems provided as operating leases, for the staff (top management, staff and operational) of the companies of the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, completed by the following services:

a) initial configuration of the terminals and system integration;

b) delivery, distribution, replacement and hot stock of the devices;

c) technical assistance during the rental with the possibility of maintenance also

Subsequently, in case of redemption of the device;

d) financial reporting and invoicing;

e) terminal monitoring portal (web based);

The Framework Agreement that will be signed with the successful tenderer will have a duration of 36 months starting from the date of subscription and amounting to EUR 16 500 000.00, excluding VAT.

The Contracting Station - in addition to the provisions of art. 14 point 2 of the "General Contract Conditions for Supply Contracts of FS Group Companies" registered with the Revenue Agency, Rome Provincial Directorate 1, Rome 1 Territorial Office, Trastevere, at no. 5987, Series 3, dated 23.6.2017, available on the website www.ferservizi.it - reserves the right to exercise the option amount, with the same conditions, with one or more unilateral deeds, for a maximum of 11,000,000 , 00 EUR, excluding VAT.

The Contracting Station also reserves the right to exercise the option of time extension of the Framework Agreement, before the natural expiry, for a maximum of an additional 24 months, at the same terms and conditions, with one or more unilateral deeds, in the hypothesis in which at the end of the term the maximum established amount is not exhausted. The 2 options may be exercised either alternatively or cumulatively.

The aforementioned options, if exercised, will be communicated to the contractor by certified e-mail at least 10 days before the expiry of the Framework Agreement.

With regard to the identification and quantification of security charges and related DUVRIs (Determination No. 3/2008 of the AVCP), as this is a Framework Agreement it is specified that, upon the occurrence of the conditions, the same will be quantified by the individual Companies upon issue of the Application orders.

With reference to the maximum amount of the Framework Agreement it is specified that the Assignee will have nothing to claim for any reason against the services not requested and consequently not returned during the execution of the Framework Agreement, in the case in which at the moment of the expiry of this last, the maximum amount of the same has not been consumed and whatever the amount of the services requested up to the moment. Given that this tender is only one component of a broader procurement strategy, it is specified that the contract has not been divided into expected lots due to management constraints (need for a single and centralized management in relation to high mobility of FS Group employees) and economic (economies of scale and synergies on the costs of services and supplies offered), also considering the minimum levels of capacity required by the call sufficient to allow maximum participation in the procedure (for more details, see the document "Notes for participation" which can be consulted together with this Announcement on the website www.acquistionlineferservizi.it).
