Caruna Oy invites applications to participate in the tendering process for clearing cable openings and streets and for the treatment of vegetation.

The aim of the service is to clear the vegetation and trees in the designated high-voltage (SJ, voltage levels 45-220 kV), medium-voltage (KJ, voltage levels 10-30 kV) and low-voltage (PJ, voltage levels ≤ 1 kV) cable openings and streets, as well as trees posing an immediate threat, using safe working methods to maintain the security of electricity distribution. The clearances will target those parts of the electricity network where there is a need for clearing and which will not be subject to network investments in the next few years.

In addition to clearance, the service includes an inspection area aimed at ensuring the security of the network for a third party. When travelling along the network, the clearer performs a safety inspection on the network to visually inspect the structural condition of the network. The results of the inspection shall be delivered to the Contracting entity's system.

Caruna's network areas are divided into eight areas (parts) for service procurement, which are service delivery areas:

Northern Finland, Ostrobothnia, Satakunta, Southwest Finland 1, Southwest Finland 2, Archipelago, Western Uusimaa, South (Central Uusimaa, Espoo + Loviisa SJ management). Joensuu is separated from other areas and is not part of the service package.

The provider may offer one or more areas (parts). One (1) service provider is selected for each area (section).
