Lot 23 Acoustic ceilings
The extension of the Rudolf Tarnow School in Boizenburg is the first phase of construction.
The new building is planned as a modern and open, non-basement two-storey structure with a flat roof. The building has a trapezoidal floor plan. Half of the 1st floor is designed on inclined round columns cantilevered above the ground floor. This results in a walk-in schoolyard area. The 1st floor with its external dimensions of approx. 72 x 21.50/10.00m rests on the ground floor of approx. 35.32 x 16.50/10.00m and 46 round columns.
The 2-storey new building complements the 4-storey existing building with a gross floor area of approximately 1,657m2 with 8 classrooms, a specialist room and a cafeteria on the ground floor. In addition, the “elevation” of the 1st floor creates a protected schoolyard of approx. 741 m2.
