We are looking for a company with the ability to manufacture, supply, deliver and install bespoke workstations/consoles to Police Control Rooms. These will be to an exacting ergonomics design specification, ensuring high levels of comfort for staff and durability. The successful company will be required to work with ergonomic design specialists, who have defined the ergonomics concept to be taken forward as part of the workstation/console technical design, manufacture/build, supply, delivery and installation. Production drawings and fully working prototypes will be required as part of the process to be signed off and agreed in stages. The ergonomic room layout will need to be carefully installed, using a template set to ensure a successful solution.

Wiltshire Police are developing a new multi-functional operations centre at their Police Headquarters site in Devizes, Wiltshire. An important part of the project will be the provision of a bespoke workstation/console suite. This suite will contain a range of multi-display workstations in 4 distinct operational groups and must include height adjustable worktops and containment for power, data and computer equipment. It is estimated that Wiltshire will require approximately 110-120 workstations/consoles.

Gloucestershire Police have a similar requirement but, initially, will require approximately 13 workstations/consoles with the possibility of adding more during the lifetime of the framework.

Avon & Somerset, Devon and Cornwall Police and Dorset Police do not have a requirement at this time but may do during the lifetime of the framework.
