The subject of this call for tenders - allocation unit (VE) 3.2 - is planning and construction services for the construction and commissioning of an exhaust gas treatment plant consisting of two exhaust gas treatment lines, including the building structure as an integral part of technological steel construction. The exhaust gas cleaning lines are assigned to a combustion and steam generator system for low-calorie fuels and a combustion and steam generator system for high-calorie replacement fuels. The aforementioned facilities are part of a new Center for Resources and Energy (ZRE) to be built altogether.

Two mutually independent exhaust gas treatment facilities are to be built. It is a dry, multi-stage flue gas dissection consisting of the following main components:

• reactor 1 with addition of sodium bicarbonate

• fabric filter 1

• Catalyst for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of nitrogen oxides with addition of ammonia water

• External economizer (not included)

• Reactor 2 with addition of hydrated lime and adsorbent and optionally dot. activated carbon

• fabric filter 2

• suction cable

• silencer

• exhaust gas heat exchanger

• emission measurement

• chimney

The flue gases from the boilers (VE 3.1) are taken over from flue gas cleaning at around 240 °C, cleaned and released to the surroundings via the chimneys.

In addition to purification, exhaust gas heat is transferred to external economisers for feedwater preheating as well as to exhaust gas heat exchangers for district heating. The clean gas can be cooled down to 70 °C.

The exhaust gas treatment system is connected to the boiler house in terms of building technology and is located above the base and operating building.
