The subject of the contract is the delivery of the Wide Area Multilateration / Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (WAM/ADS-B) Stage 2 - South FIR Warsaw.
The purchase of the system is part of the process of modernization and optimization of the PANSA surveillance system. The direct reason for the purchase is the need to supplement the coverage in order to ensure the continuity of the surveillance system in the event of failure of its components and to adapt technical solutions to current standards.
As part of the contract, the WAM/ADS-B system will be delivered, installed and launched on the facilities made available by PANSA, to ensure coverage in a defined area covering mainly TMA Kraków.
The range of supplies includes:
- dual-channel central processor
— Receiving, Transmitting, Receiving and Reference-Monitoring Units,
— a system of remote control and monitoring of all components of the system;
— data recording and playback system,
— test system;
— a set of spare parts,
— toolkit
— Software licenses,
— technical documentation.
As part of the services, the contractor will provide m.in:
— Selection of the location of the ground stations from the pool of objects made available by the contracting authority,
— design, installation, integration and commissioning of a complete WAM/ADS-B system using the PANSA telecommunications network connecting ground stations with the central processor,
— preparation and conduct of FAT and SAT tests,
— training of technical personnel,
— project management, together with periodic reviews of the progress of work with the participation of the contracting authority,
— preparation of the security plan and documentation related to it resulting from Regulation (EU) 2017/373,
— warranty.
